NetHASP Client (UltraQuant 6.0) is the network licensing component used by UltraQuant 6.0 to access a shared hardware key (NetHASP dongle) hosted on a license server. It discovers and connects to the NetHASP License Manager on your local network, checks out a concurrent license when UltraQuant starts, and returns it when the application closes. The client supports automatic server discovery or manual configuration via the nethasp.ini file, and typically communicates over TCP/IP (default port 475). This setup enables centralized, floating licensing so multiple workstations can share a limited number of seats without attaching a dongle to each machine. Installation is lightweight and generally requires only specifying the license server; after that, it runs silently in the background. This client is intended for environments using a network (floating) license; single‑user, local dongle configurations may not require it. For reliable operation, ensure the NetHASP License Manager and hardware key are active on the server and that firewall rules allow traffic between clients and the license server on the configured port.
